Couldn’t be better! The rooms are comfortable, the food is brilliant – great lounge & kids area – highly recommended! Just a couple of minutes to the lifts. We’ll definitely be back!
We ate very well, with all the meals being fresh, delicious and healthy. Just perfect when you are away and ‘eating out’ for every meal.

Clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Met by the manager who gave us a quick welcome and run through the lodge facilities. Rooms were very comfortable and the communal rooms very well furnished. Food was great and the location perfect. A group of us stayed with our bikes for the L’Étape Australia ride. The lodge helped out with extra secure bike parking. Highly recommend.
It was our first time to Thredbo and Boali Lodge was our home away from home. The comfort of the lounge area and the kids playroom were great for the entire family. I am a fussy eater and food prepared by the chef was nothing short of 5 star. The location is central and provides easy access to all locations. I would recommend Boali Lodge to anyone that wants to relax and escape the the big city.
What a great lodge and you can’t get a better location in Thredbo. Well laid out – the kids hang out on the ground floor and adults on the third floor with great views of the mountain separated by the dining restaurant level. THE FOOD !!! Was amazing we had the accommodation and meals package every course every day was just beautiful 5 star.
We have always been impressed by the staff at Boali Lodge because of their warm, friendly, professional and accommodating approach. The daily meals have been one of the many highlights for staff and students and the excellent facilities served our group well, allowing us the freedom to enjoy our week’s activities.
The lodge is so close to the ski lifts and right next to the village shops and the Thredbo Village Green. Boali Lodge is simply the best!
I just wanted to say how much we all enjoyed our weekend stay at Boali Lodge. The chef prepared some delicious food, I can’t decide which dish I enjoyed the best! The lodge was the perfect place for our group Christmas celebration with its large communal areas for dining and relaxing. It was also very clean and we enjoyed not having to provide our own sheets and towels. We’ll be back again!
Twice yearly I venture down from Brisbane with my team of high performance swimmers to Thredbo to take advantage of the benefits of both altitude and seclusion.
Over the past 5 years the team at Boali has provided an exceptional service. The staff are first class, the accommodation comfortable and the food is to die for.
Our swimmers really enjoyed their stay at Boali Lodge – the location right within the village, the comfortable surroundings of the lodge and the hospitality of the lodge manager all made for a thoroughly enjoyable stay! The high quality and super fresh meals were a highlight of the stay and were perfectly prepared to help refuel our swimmers between training sessions at the Thredbo Leisure Centre. We’ll be back again next year!
Spent a week at Boali with the family. Amazing food so you don’t need to lift a finger all week, very hospitable host, high quality furnishings in common areas. Close walk to the chairlift, right next to the Thredbo Alpine Hotel. All little details thought through. The ski storage facilities also top shelf. If you are looking for a high-quality stay and are sick of spending the family trip at the bistro in Thredbo then definitely consider here!
