Renowned for our excellent dining and fresh healthy ingredients, you can relax on your mountain holiday while our in-house chef prepares all your meals. Get to know other guests over a meal in our communal dining room which has fantastic views over the Crackenback Range. If you have medically diagnosed or religious dietary requirements, please notify us at the time of making your booking.  Dietary requests will be considered, but cannot be guaranteed. We ask all our guests to join in the nightly lodge tradition of setting and clearing tables in the dining room. Christmas and New Year’s Eve feature special multi-course celebration menus and we have a Degustation Dinner event on 14 March 2020.


Breakfast is a generous affair with a different cooked dish on offer each day. Continental options such as cereal, toast, fruit and yoghurt are also available. There’s always plenty to fuel you up for a day of snow sports or summer action.


With the lodge located so close to the chairlifts it’s easy to pop back for lunch. Laid out buffet style, you’ll find a selection of delicious salads, antipasto and cold meats, plus all the makings for a toasted sandwich. Lunch picnic packs can be arranged during summer only. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available all day.


A highlight of every stay is our set menu 3 course dinners. Our ever-changing nightly menu includes fresh salads, soups and terrines for entrée followed by mains such as lamb rump with mushroom ragu, polenta potatoes and three peas. A delicious dessert follows, such as peppermint parfait with macerated strawberries or the best crème brulee you’ve tasted. Children enjoy a special two course dinner of their own at 6pm while adults eat at 7pm.


Our chef Gianni has kindly shared some of his most popular dishes from the lodge. Having grown up in Tuscany, Gianni’s cuisine has a Mediterranean flair. Try making his Tuscan style baked eggs for breakfast this weekend or his Salt and Pepper Grilled Calamari with Middle Eastern Couscous at your next dinner party.
