Thredbo is Australia’s premier alpine destination. Open 365 days a year it’s home to Australia’s longest ski runs, 14 lifts and a beautiful alpine village situated in a picturesque valley in the heart of the famous Kosciuszko National Park.
Skiing and snowboarding
There’s something for everyone including a gently sloped area for beginners, Australia’s longest runs for the intermediates, and challenging off-piste areas with natural features for the advanced riders.
Kids and family
Thredbo is perfect for families with fun ski and snowboard lessons and Thredboland’s program for the littlies. There are special kids activities during the school holidays and kids flare run each Thursday night.
There’s a variety of terrain parks at Thredbo catering to all abilities of skiers and boarders. As well as jumps of all sizes you’ll find fun boxes, tubes, rails, bonks and other assorted jibs.
Back country adventures
Head beyond the resort boundaries into the alpine wilderness with a guided snow shoe tour or skiing tour.
Thredbo Leisure Centre
With a 50m pool, waterslide and floating obstacle course, squash courts, a gym and trampolining program, the Thredbo Leisure Centre is a world-class training facility.
Night skiing and the flare run
Twilight riding is open on Friday Flat on Thursday during July and August, followed by the kids flare run. Each Saturday night in winter the adult flare run snakes its way down the Supertrail and is followed by fireworks.
