Thredbo Mountain Bike Park

Thredbo Mountain Bike Park is one of Australia’s premier mountain biking destinations and this summer it takes gravity riding, cross country exploring and MTB action to a whole new level and elevation. With new trails in the pipeline and revamped existing tracks, there are over 25 kilometers of epic riding to enjoy. From downhill, cross-country, all-mountain and a fast flowing pump track, there is lots to love about riding in the Thredbo Mountain Bike Park this summer.

Hiking

Conquer Australia’s highest peak Mount Kosciuszko and take in views that stretch as far as the eye can see or explore the trails lower down the mountain that traverse native bushland.

Mountain biking

There are chairlift-accessed adrenalin-pumping gravity trails plus a network of cross-country trails perfect for a family bike ride.

Wildflowers

Spot Eyebrights and Billy Buttons galore as you experience the magical wildflower bloom that carpets the alps from December to late February.

Alpine Coaster

The Southern Hemisphere’s first-ever year-round Alpine Coaster is now open. This 1.5-kilometer ride offers passengers the ability to control their speed up to 40 km/h as they navigate a mix of uphill and downhill tracks featuring tunnels, bridges, and circles through the stunning alpine environment.

Thredbo Leisure Centre

Just a 5-minute stroll from Thredbo Village Square and Friday Flat, our state-of-the-art facility is the place to get fit and have fun. Enjoy a fully equipped gym, swimming pool with waterslide and Mission Inflatable, sports hall, bouldering wall, squash court, and a recreational trampoline centre.

Fly Fishing

The crystal-clear Thredbo River is home to some of Australia’s wildest trout. Cast a line and soak up the tranquillity of the Snowy Mountains as you fish in this pristine alpine setting. The fly-fishing season runs from the October Long Weekend through to the June Long Weekend.

Tee off at Australia’s highest golf course. Thredbo’s 9-hole layout follows the Thredbo River and circles the mountain base, delivering stunning alpine views and pristine playing conditions.
