Sunrise Sessions and Alphine Adventures| Weekly, Late July-August
Catch the first light and freshest tracks at Thredbo with Sunrise Sessions, an unforgettable experience that ends with a mountaintop breakfast and sweeping alpine views.
For those looking to go beyond the resort boundaries, Thredbo’s Backcountry Tours are your ticket to untouched terrain and next-level exploration. Led by expert guides, these tours cater to all skill levels from first-timers learning how to use alpine touring gear and avalanche safety equipment, to experienced adventurers ready to explore deep powder and steep ridgelines.
Wander through open snowfields and alpine forests on guided walks where you’ll discover the rich natural and cultural history of the Snowy Mountains—from ancient Aboriginal pathways to the earliest ski pioneers. The daytime tours are perfect for sightseeing and photo stops, while the night snowshoe tour adds a dash of enchantment with a gondola ride at sunset and a starlit hike capped off with a warm drink.
