Booking Terms and Conditions
Commercial Winter Bookings
- All booking requests must be submitted on a booking request form. Please ensure that your full address including postcode, email address and telephone contact is filled out in full to allow for more efficient receipting and lodge to guest communication.
- This form is a booking request only. Please consider all requests unconfirmed until such time as you have received a receipt for payment of your booking.
- Adults are defined as 15 years and over, children are 2-14 years, infants are 0-24 months in a cot. Priority allocation of loft rooms will be made to families with children/infants. Children will not be allocated double rooms without an accompanying adult.
- Booking Arrangements
Peak Season - Bookings available in order of priority are:
(1) in Sunday, out Sunday (7 days),
(2) in Sunday, out Friday (5 days), then
(3) weekend bookings – in Friday, out Sunday (see Note 6).
Shoulder Season – any 2 day minimum booking
- Weekend bookings are available for immediate confirmation for Shoulder season. During peak season, weekend bookings will only be confirmed if the booking coincides with a 5-day week booking, or if vacancies exist four weeks prior to the specified period.
- Bookings made prior to 1st May require a 25% deposit, with the balance payable on 1st May. Full payment is required at time of booking for bookings made after 1st May.
- Wednesday Night – is the chef’s night off, but a simple style meal will be served by our extra staff.
- First Night Meal - please contact the managers prior to the commencement of your booking if you DO NOT require an evening meal on the first night of your stay.
- Cancellations can be made by phone but must be confirmed in writing. Refunds rules:

- Bookings may only be altered once, and then if cancelled, no refund is due. A $20 charge will apply when amendments are made to confirmed bookings. Amendments will not be confirmed until fee is paid.
- Carparking; Please note that the front carpark is pick up and set down only unless otherwise advised by managers.
Commercial Summer Bookings
- All bookings must be submitted on a booking request form or via our online form. Please ensure that your full address including postcode, email address and telephone contact is filled out in full to allow for more efficient receipting and lodge to guest communication.
- The forms are booking requests only. Please consider all requests unconfirmed until such time as you have received a receipt for payment of your booking.
- Prices are based on all beds in a room being occupied. When all rooms are booked, an extra single supplement fee will apply if there are spare beds in rooms that could be filled.
- Allocation of loft rooms will be made to families with children/infants. Children will not be allocated double rooms without an accompanying adult staying in the room.
- Fully catered includes breakfast, lunch and three-course dinner.
- The following periods are fully catered only (no B&B) and a three night minimum stay applies:
Christmas – Friday 23 December 2011 through to Monday 2 January 2012 (inclusive).
Easter – Thursday 5 April through to Monday 9 April 2012 (inclusive). - A loading of $50 per head applies to Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, which includes a multi course special celebration dinner.
- A two night minimum stay applies to the summer event weekends for:
Thredbo Summer Blues Festival – Friday 13th to Sunday 15th January 2012
Thredbo Legends of Jazz Festival – Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th March 2012 - For peak periods (as listed in Notes 6 and 8), a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, and the balance is payable 28 days prior to the commencement of the stay. For other periods, a deposit of 25% required at the time of booking request, with the balance payable on arrival.
- Cancellation Policy - Cancellations can be made by phone but must be confirmed in writing:

- Please be aware that as Boali is a Club Lodge all commercial bookings will be expected to afford appropriate behaviour as expected from Boali Lodge Members.
- Boali Lodge will take all care but cannot take responsibility for lost or stolen property from both secured and common areas of the Lodge.
- Boali Lodge is unlicensed. Please BYO and use our fridge, freezer and bar facilities as required.
- Boali Lodge rooms are not serviced during your stay to maintain your privacy. On arrival your room will be made up with linen as per your requirements.
Privacy Policy
Boali Lodge will keep in confidence all names, addresses and personal information received from its guests and interested parties. All such information will not be passed on, or kept on our public servers. All such information is kept in a secure environment.
Boali Lodge will only record your e-mail address if you send us a message or complete our accommodation enquiry forms. Your e-mail address will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it and it will not be added to a mailing list or used for any other purpose without your consent.
This web site does not provide facilities for the secure transmission of information across the Internet. Users should be aware that there are inherent risks transmitting information across the Internet.

Alpine Responsibility Code
- Know your ability and always stay in control and be able to stop and avoid other people or objects. It is your responsibility to stay in control on the ground and in the air.
- Take lessons from qualified professional instructors, to learn and progress.
- As you proceed downhill or overtake another person, you must avoid the people below and beside you.
- Do not stop where you obstruct a trail or run, or are not visible from above.
- When entering a trail or run or starting downhill, look uphill and give way to others.
- When riding a chairlifts use the restraining devices. Always use suitable restraints to prevent runaway skiing/boarding equipment. Ensure your equipment is in good condition.
- Observe and obey all signs and warnings. Keep off closed trails or runs and out of closed areas.
- Before using any lift you must have the knowledge and ability to load, ride and unload safely.
- Do not ski, snowboard, ride a lift or undertake any other alpine activity if your ability is impaired by drugs or alcohol.
- If you are involved in, or witness an accident, alert Ski Patrol, remain at the scene and identify yourself to the Ski Patrol.
