Boali Lodge, its history and views
Boali opened in 1986. It was a co-operative effort by a small number of far sighted people who wanted to create a private lodge that would be able to provide good access to the snow with reasoanable club comfort. Over the years the Lodge has moved to professional full time management and is currently undergoing an upgrading program of its equipment and facilities. The ownership structure is that of a Unit Trust of which there are 150 units, currently 147 owned by members. Units change hands at a commercial market price.

The Lodge has managers/chef working at the lodge who, during the winter period also employ additional staff. The Lodge provides dinner bed, breakfast and lunch to guests at a competitive price.
The overall management of the Trust is in the hands of a Board of 9/10 elected on rotation annually. From within that number a Chair is appointed for a maximum period of 2 years.
